MALIGAON, DECEMBER 21 (MExN): In a bid to clear extra rush of passengers during winter season, the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has been decided to run winter special train between Kolkata and New Coochbehar for single trip in both directions leaving from Kolkata on December 22 and from New Coochbehar on December 24.
A press release issued by NFR Chief Public Relations Officer Sabyasachi De informed that special train no 03141 (Kolkata - New Coochbehar) will depart from Kolkata at 23:40 hours on December 22 (Friday) to reach New Coochbehar at 12:30 hours onDecember 23 (Saturday). In return direction, special train no 03142 (New Coochbehar – Kolkata) will depart from New Coochbehar at 05:00 hours on December 24 (Sunday) to reach Kolkata at 22:40 hours on same day. The special train will run via Dhupguri, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Azimganj, Bandel railway stations etc. during its both way journey.
The train will consist of 21 coaches. AC-III tier, sleeper class & general seating coaches will be available. Wait-listed passengers of other trains travelling in this route can avail the opportunity to travel with comfort. The details of the special train are notified in social media platforms of NF Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details before undertaking their journey.
