Dimapur, March 18 (MEXn): under the theme, “Success necessities Sacrifice,” the Yemhi Memorial College (YMC) Dimapur held its 7th Annual Sorts Week from March 12-13.
The programme and sports was held at Dimapur State Sports Academy ground was declared opened by the college principal Dr Kaba Daniel.
The highlights of the events were football (boys), penalty shootout (girls), volleyball (both boys and girls), 100m race, 200m race, 400m race, relay race, a press note from YMC informed.
The students divided into four different houses - Warriors, Riders, Challengers, and Daredevils; and the Riders emerged as the overall champion, the release said.
An exhibition football match was also played between Alumni Association, YMC and YMCSU students.
