‘Youth of Nagaland’ music video officially launched during the Nagaland World Music Festival on November 7.
Kohima, November 8 (MExN): A new and inspiring music video titled “Youth of Nagaland”, featuring various Naga artists, was officially launched during the Nagaland World Music Festival on November 7.
The song, composed by Imna Yaden and Imtikumzuk Jamir with music produced by Wangching Konyak, was launched by Dikho Losü, Member of the Manipur Legislative Assembly.
The launch event was also attended by Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director of the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), and Nunese Sale, Chief Event Manager of the Nagaland World Music Festival.
According to the creators, “Youth of Nagaland” is a powerful and uplifting song that celebrates the spirit, resilience, and unity of the Naga youth.
Blending traditional Naga sounds with modern musical elements, the song aims to capture the pride of heritage, the strength of identity, and the hope for a brighter future.
It stands as a tribute to young dreamers and changemakers who carry forward the legacy of their ancestors while shaping a new tomorrow for Nagaland, a release said. This collaboration brings together various talented Naga artists, reflecting the unity and creativity that define Nagaland’s vibrant music community, it added.
