Hornbill Festival 2021 registers 56, 356 visitors during five days

A total of 56,356 visitors have been registered during five days (December 1-5) of the Hornbill Festival 2021 at Naga Heritage Village Kisama, before its suspension thereafter. 

Out of 56, 356, the foreign tourists stand at 54, domestic tourist- 14, 538 and local visitors 41, 764.

According to the state’s tourism department, the day wise visitors stands; December 1- 12, 420; December 2-7191; December 3-5515;  December 4-14,017; and December 5- 17,213.

Mentionably, the State Government today (December 7) called off all the remaining activities of the ongoing Hornbill Festival, 2021 in view of the mourning announced for the deceased in the firing incidents in Mon district, and the demand of various civil societies call off the festival.
