14th NDPP Southern Angami I A/C commemorates World Tourism Day

Kohima, September 28 (MExN): The NDPP Party of the 14th Southern Angami I A/C observed World Tourism Day in collaboration with Tourism Department on September 27 at Heritage Village Kisama under the theme “Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.”

Marking the occasion, a social work was conducted and inspected by T. Kakihe Sumi, Additional Director of Tourism Department, who reiterated the endeavor of the Tourism Department to upkeep the Heritage Village to befit tourists visiting the area.

Meanwhile, the NDPP party also appreciated the efforts of the state government headed by Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio for the committed initiatives and promoting sustainable tourism at grass root levels. The social work was participated by more than 100 party workers.
