16 teams participate in Innovation Hub science model competition

Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): The Innovation Hub, Nagaland Science Centre under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Nagaland organised the 6th Innovative Science Working Model Competition on March 20 at the Innovation Hub, Nagaland Science Centre, Dimapur.

The theme of the exhibition was “Understanding the bad roads of Nagaland: The intervention with grassroots innovation to make it better and persistent.”

Er. Kevineizo Chakrüno, SDO, PWD (NH), attended the programme as special guest and also served as the chief judge of the exhibition.

Altogether 16 teams from schools across Dimapur, Chumukedima and Wokha districts participated in the competition. Santsuo School, Wokha emerged as the winner, while PM Shri GHS Thahekhu secured the first runners-up position. Highland Hall Higher Secondary School, Chumukedima finished as the second runners-up.

The winners received citations along with cash prizes of Rs 7,000, Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000 respectively.
