3rd NAP personnel leave for Delhi

DIMAPUR | SEPTEMBER 16 :  A Company of the 3rd NAP Tuensang left for Delhi on Friday night by train for performing static duties in the national capital. Four Companies were drawn from the 3rd NAP to perform various duties in Delhi.
Interacting with this reporter, Deputy Commandant of the 3rd NAP, Vesupra Kezo said two companies from the particular unit are already performing their duties in Delhi.
This is the third Company comprising of approximately 150 personnel led by Assistant Commandant, Pihoto Sumi and they will relieve the 1st NAP personnel in the capital.
The fourth Company will leave on September 27. Six Companies drawn from the 1st NAP have already performed their duties. Out of the six, two Companies have already returned from Delhi while one Company will be arriving on Saturday, September 17.
The remaining three Companies will also return as and when appropriate arrangements are worked out for their replacement.
Kezo informed that altogether nine Companies of the NAP are called to perform various static duties in Delhi. Four Companies from the 3rd NAP, three companies from the 2nd NAP and two Companies from the 4th NAP Thizama will comprise of the required nine Companies. The first Company from 4th NAP have already reached Delhi while the second Company will leave on September 23.  The 2nd NAP personnel have been in Delhi and will remain there for sometime.
