46 AC Mon NDPP formally merges with NPF

Mon, December 5 (MExN): The 46 AC Mon NDPP on Friday formally merged with NPF at the declaration programme held on December 5 at Mon Hq along with the installation of party office bearers and executives led by its president Y Yeanglong Konyak.

The program was chaired by Akoi, president, Women Wing, followed by invocation prayer by Wangshak, Ex-Deacon, KBCM. Y Yeanglong Konyak delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of unity and collective leadership in strengthening the party at the grassroots level.

Key speeches were delivered by Tongam, Angh of Totok, Tingtong,COB Member, and W Khahwang Konyak, outgoing 46 AC NPF President, who expressed their support for the merger and called upon party workers to remain united and committed to the principles and vision of the party.

Addressing the programme, Y Mankhao Konyak, MLA, 46 AC Mon and Chairman DPDB Mon, congratulated the newly installed executives and stressed on the importance of discipline, teamwork and dedicated service to the people and the party. Konyak lauded the visionary leadership of Dr Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of Nagaland, and the president of NPF party. 

He also urged the party men and women to work in close coordination with the government to ensure that developmental benefits reach every section of society.

The program concluded with the mass benediction, followed by lunch. Officer bearers of General Body, Women Wing, Youth Wing and Farmer Wing, senior party leaders from various units, villages and all wards of Mon town attended the programme.
