4th Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden concludes at Khensa

The 4th edition of Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden (Khensa Women’s Seminar & Conference) concluded successfully on September 28 at Khensa Baptist Church, marking the end of a three-day event filled with fellowship, reflection, and spiritual renewal. Organized by the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Church under the theme “Südem Akangshiro” (Tightening the Wrap), the conference ran from September 26 to 28 and saw a turnout of 388 delegates from various units across Khensa and beyond.

This year’s edition drew participation from a wide network of women’s fellowships, including Kohima Unit (26), Dimapur Unit (27), Mokokchung Unit (28), Yimyu Ward Unit (48), Kongrokong Unit (33), Tenem Colony (44), Imdong Colony (27), Tzüto Colony (56), Jungli Colony (20), Amenyong Colony (25), Women Ministry (5), Youth Ministry (12), Volunteers (12), and Khensa Sensotsür Mungdang (25). The gathering reflected the unity and collective spirit of Khensa women spread across different regions.

The conference, themed “Südem Akangshiro,” served as both a spiritual and social platform emphasizing the strength, resilience, and nurturing role of women in binding families and communities together. Over the three days, delegates engaged in panel discussions, devotionals, exhibitions, and musical performances.

At the valedictory session, the organizers officially announced that the 5th edition of Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden will be held in 2029, continuing the triennial tradition of the conference. A new planning committee—Asameyang Luden (Planning Committee)—was also constituted to lead preparations for the upcoming edition. The committee members are: Imchasenla as Convenor, Yongdangmongla as Secretary, and members Temsujungla, Limanaro, Temsusangla, Alemla Thonger, Rongsentula, Sentiangla, Asenla Mathi, Sentitola, Fonasangla, Kikayangla, and Naropongla, with the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Arogo serving as Ex-officio.

Expressing gratitude at the closing ceremony, the organizing committee acknowledged that the successful completion of the 4th edition was made possible through the collective efforts, prayers, and participation of all units, delegates, and volunteers. They further commended the unwavering dedication of the Women Ministry of Khensa Baptist Church in hosting and coordinating the event.

In their concluding remarks, the organizers conveyed optimism that the newly appointed planning committee will continue to uphold the vision of the Khensatsür Shisatokden Senden—to strengthen fellowship, promote unity among Khensa women, and encourage holistic growth grounded in faith and community. They expressed hope that the 2029 edition will build upon the achievements of the past four conferences and serve as an even more impactful gathering of women in faith and purpose.
