4th Master Shield Trophy underway

The 4th Master Shield Trophy organized by the Mokokchung District T20 Cricket Federation got underway at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung today. The Inaugural programme of the trophy was graced by Roben Masen, Regional Transport Officer, Mokokchung.

The first match of the tournament was played between Time Team and Vincent. Vincent won the toss and elected to bat first managing to score 253 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Time team meanwhile were bowled out for 81 runs in 18.5 over.

The man of the match award was given to Vijay of Vincent who scored a century for his team. All together seven teams are participating in the fourth edition of this trophy, which will go on till February 20.
