Awardees of 4th W Daniel Rengma Meritorious Award with others on June 22.
Kohima, June 22 (MExN): The members of W Daniel Rengma Trust organized its 4th W. Daniel Rengma Meritorious Award Ceremony on June 22 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner office, Tseminyu.
The award was conferred to Binthonlo Tep, who secured 17th rank in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination 2023. Binthonlo Tep, expressed gratefulness to Almighty God for granting him good result and assured to struggle even harder to achieve higher goals in his academic career.
Speaking on the occasion as the special guest, Dr. Zasekuolie Chusi, Deputy Commissioner congratulated the HSLC topper and expressed gratitude to W. Daniel Rengma Trust for shouldering such an immense responsibility. He urged the student community stay committed, determined and dedicated to one’s dreams and visions. He stated that there is no substitute to hard work. Success comes to only those who believe and struggle.
Pollem Tep, the chairperson of the programme enlightened the gathering with a brief life history of late W. Daniel Rengma. Yhunthonlo Khing, Pastor TTBC invoked God’s blessing while Susan Semp conducted the felicitation session. Shwenhilo Keppen, chairman of the Trust delivered vote of thanks.
