A Timely Awakening for Our Land

A heartfelt gratitude to the organizers of Nagaland Revival and Healing Festival

This revival did not happen by accident. It happened because some leaders were sensitive to the voice of God and open to His leading. In a generation filled with noise and endless distractions, it is rare to find leaders who can stop, seek God earnestly, and respond in obedience. Yet a few faithful leaders in our midst discerned that divine nudge, gentle yet powerful and they chose to honour it. Their willingness to listen, to carry the burden for the people and to step forward in faith has become the foundation of everything we witnessed. Because they opened their hearts to God’s voice, thousands were able to encounter healing, restoration and spiritual renewal in ways our land has not seen in years.

It is no exaggeration to say that what we witnessed in Dimapur is history in the making. The revival took place in an unfinished stadium, yet every single day, it was completely filled. What a sight it was! People poured in by the thousands, sitting wherever they could, standing for hours and worshipping under open skies. The uncompleted structure, still waiting for its final touches, became a house of miracles. The very fact that such a place could overflow with worshippers day after day is evidence that when God moves, no unfinished building or imperfect condition can stop His work. The organizers, recognizing the hunger of the people, made the bold choice to go ahead in that very space and the result was something unforgettable, a testimony that will be spoken about for generations.

In a time when society is wrestling with uncertainty, discouragement and spiritual weariness, this revival emerged as a powerful breath of hope. What unfolded was not merely an event but it was a movement of healing, unity and divine touch. And for this, our heartfelt gratitude goes to the organizers who labored tirelessly, prayed fervently and created an atmosphere where God’s presence could move freely.

The revival was truly the need of the hour. People from every walk of life young and old, confident and broken, hopeful and searching gathered under one roof, longing for comfort and renewal. To see thousands lifting their voices in unison, praying with tears, worshipping with passion and embracing one another as one family was deeply moving. In a world often divided by differences, this revival stood as a reminder that faith can unite people like nothing else can.

We must deeply appreciate the tremendous effort poured into organizing such a massive event. Handling logistics, coordinating volunteers, managing crowds and ensuring safety for tens of thousands is no small task. Yet the organizers carried out their responsibilities with grace, humility and unwavering dedication. They created a space both physical and spiritual where countless people could encounter God’s healing power.

One of the most astounding parts of this revival was the multitude of healing testimonies. People were healed from long-standing illnesses, emotional wounds, addictions, depression and various burdens they had been carrying for years. Families found restoration, individuals discovered renewed faith and many testified of miracles they never expected. Such stories are not just uplifting, they are signs of God’s active hand in our community.

And then came the beautiful surprise: the revival was extended for another day. This was not just an extension of a programme; it was an extension of grace. When hearts are hungry and lives are being transformed continuously, extending the revival becomes not only meaningful but necessary. It reflected both the spiritual hunger of the people and the sensitivity of the organizers to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Truly, it was God Himself extending the invitation for one more day.

This revival has set a powerful example of what can happen when leaders obey God and when organizers serve with sincerity and love. The impact of these days will go far beyond what we witnessed. The fire ignited here will continue to burn in homes, churches, youth groups and individual lives. As we reflect on this extraordinary moment in our state’s spiritual history, we extend our deepest thanks to every organizer, volunteer, leader, musician and intercessor who made this possible. May God bless them abundantly for being vessels of His work. May the revival spark continue to transform our land in the days to come. Dimapur has reminded us once again: when God moves, everything changes. And for being instruments of that divine movement, we honour the organizers with heartfelt gratitude.
