Kohima, April 2 (MExN): The Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Akluto, has issued a public notice informing residents of VK Town under Zunheboto district about the ongoing road widening project along the NH-02 stretch from Doyang to Izheto. According to the notice, households and building owners in VK Town whose properties have already been compensated and officially marked by the PWD (NH) Department in coordination with the district administration on March 19, 2026, have been given 45 days from the date of issuance to vacate their premises. The affected individuals have been directed to remove all personal belongings and structures within the stipulated period to facilitate smooth execution of the project. The notice further stated that the PHED and Power Department have been requested to undertake utility shifting work simultaneously to avoid delays.
