Kohima, May 26 (MExN): Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) on Tuesday assured the public that the availability of petrol, diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains adequate and uninterrupted across Nagaland.

According to a statement issued through PIB Kohima, the overall fuel supply position in the state remains stable, with the entire supply chain operating normally.

The statement informed that refineries, terminals, bulk storage depots, LPG bottling plants, retail outlets and LPG distributorships are functioning without disruption, while daily dispatches are continuing as scheduled to ensure adequate stock availability in all districts.

The OMCs further stated that they are maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and replenishment to ensure seamless fuel supply across the state despite prevailing global uncertainties affecting the oil and gas sector.

Consumers have been urged to continue normal purchasing patterns and avoid panic buying or stockpiling of fuel and LPG.

The public was also advised to rely only on official communications issued by the OMCS for verified information regarding fuel availability.

IndianOil, BPCL and HPCL are OMCs operating in Nagaland.

The statement came amid another fuel hike on May 25, the fourth hike in fuel prices this month
