The Nagaland Adventure Club (NAC) and Gorilla Moto today announced that the North East Advenduro Northeast- Nagaland Edition X 2026 will take place from January 25 to 30 across 12 districts of Nagaland under the theme “India’s First. Northeast’s Fiercest.”

Advenduro Northeast-Nagaland Edition X 2026 is India’s first multi-day endurance epic, born in the wild and untamed heart of the Northeast, said NAC advisor Peter Rutsa while addressing a press conference at Crescent International Hotel, Kohima.

Rutsa said that the purpose of the event is to establish Northeast India as the epicentre of adventure motorsports, to showcase the region’s rugged terrains, breathtaking landscapes, and rich cultural heritage, to create a legacy of endurance and pride that future riders will look back on with honour and to unite riders, clubs, and communities under one banner of adventure and resilience.
It will feature multi-day expedition, spreading 3-5 days across Nagaland’s toughest terrains.

It will also feature immersive adventure in the form of wilderness camping, cooking, trekking, and cultural engagement with indigenous communities.

The riders will experience unforgettable landscapes, mist-covered ridges, dense forests and tribal heartlands.

“Courage, teamwork, stamina, and resilience will define every rider’s journey,” Rutsa informed, who is also convenor of Advenduro Northeast-Nagaland Edition X 2026.

The event will open an opportunity to unite, strengthen bonds, and showcase the spirit of Northeast riders.

For the region, it is a gateway to tourism, cultural pride, and global recognition in motorsports.

For India, it is a pioneering event that positions the country on the global adventure map.

The organizers invite riders, clubs, communities, and partners to join this historic journey.

“Every kilometre will test you. Every sunrise will reward you. Every moment will remind you why we ride,” Rutsa said.

Flagging off from Kohima on Jan 26
Rutsa said that the event will be flagged off from Kohima on Republic Day (January 26).

The event will cover the districts of Kohima, Phek, Zunheboto, Kiphire, Shamator, Noklak, Tuensang, Longleng, Mon, Mokokchung, Tseminyu and Wokha

Expecting that this event will grow across the years, Rutsa said “This initiative is just a beginning. Over the years, this will grow each year and every edition.”

Over the years, this will spread to the other north eastern state on rotation basic, he said.

For this to grow, we need support of the governments from the respective North East states, he said.

The event, he said, is more about adventure, discovery and taking participants to places that are less visited in tourism map of Nagaland in particular.

Sunil Karnany of Gorilla Moto said that the event will draw riders from across India including foreigners.

Registration is still going on.

For the first time, Northeast India will host this 1100–1500 km endurance challenge that goes beyond roads, beyond limits, and beyond imagination, said NAC president Burakum Ao.

The event will also feature series of competition with Rs. 60,000 prize pool for river raid sprint, relay race, photography and videography contest.

The riders will also propagate “Say no to drugs, Yes to Life,” “Say No to Addiction, Say Yes to Adventure,” “Protecting Nature, Preserving Heritage” as social awareness initiative of Numaligarh Refinery Limited
