AGBCN 4th Biennial Women Conference concludes in Nagaland

SINGRIJAN, OCTOBER 12 (MExN): The Association of the Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) successfully concluded its 4th Biennial Women Conference from October 10 to 12 at the AGBCN Mission Centre, Singrijan Village, under the theme “Global Vision for the Gospel.”

Over 300 delegates from 34 Gorkha/Nepali Baptist Churches across Nagaland attended the three-day event. Ambika Thapa Pradhan, Women Advisor of the Nepali Baptist Association, Assam, and Dr Igumpule Ndang served as the main speakers. Bible study sessions were led by Utsha Rai Haokip, Youth Director, Kuki Baptist Church, Medziphema, and Manju Malla Pradhan, In-charge Women Secretary, AGBCN.

The conference featured praise and worship by Nepali Baptist Church, Padumpukhuri, along with cultural displays, hymn choral competitions, cultural dance performances, Bible quizzes, and secretary report presentations.

Competition results were as follows: Hymnal Choral – GBC Thahekhu (winner), GBC Chümoukedima Town (1st runner-up); Cultural Dance – GBC Singrijan (winner), DTNBC Duncan (1st runner-up); Secretary Report – NBC Walford (winner), GBC Chümoukedima Town (1st runner-up); Bible Quiz – GBC Viola (winner), GBC Chümoukedima Town (1st runner-up).

Manju Malla Pradhan encouraged participants to uphold their faith and commitment to advancing the Gospel until the next conference in 2027.
