Air Chief Marshal visits eastern sector bases

Kohima, Jamaury 9 (MExN): The Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria PVSM AVSM VM ADC undertook a two-day visit to Air Force Stations in Eastern Air Command (EAC), an official release informed today.   The CAS visited six vital air bases and combat units operating at these locations on January 8 and 9, stated the release issued by Lt Col Sumit K Sharma, PRO (Defence). During the visit, he reviewed the operational preparedness at these bases, met local Commanders and interacted with the station personnel. Bhadauria also urged all Air Warriors, NCs (E), DSC personnel and Civilian staff to continue discharging their duties with utmost sincerity and ensure a high state of readiness, the release said. The visits enabled the CAS to share his vision personally with the men and women serving in frontline field units, it added.
