Kohima | October 14 : After successfully performing at Patkai Christian College, the infantile band of two and half months “Alowanth Band” formed in August 2011, rocked Kohima this evening at Ozone café with their original songs and compositions like justice, Upside down and I don’t care, and also launched its official website alowanth.com
Interacting with media persons before the start of the show the band members Alo Wanth (Lead Vocal and Acoustic Guitars), Alem Jamir (Electric Guitars), Noksang (Bass), Samuel Thabah (Drum) and Tiaba (Band Manager) the host, Metro team and members of Inno Vision Computech were confident enough that the band will be an inspiring role for the local musicians encouraging them that their talent should never be a waste.
The band is on its promotional tour for the upcoming Debut album to be released next May and adding more better news for music lovers, the music audiolink available at the website can be downloaded for free within the next two days and can be played/downloaded without buffering making it more easier without time consumption.
It is a full-fledged four piece band, based in Dimapur, Nagaland making "contemporary music with a feeling of jazz, blues, modern rock, alternative and pop etc."
The Band will perform on 15 October during the RockAware Grand Finale at Dimapur, November 17 again at DDSC Ground, Dimapur and November 18, the band will open the John Schlitt concert at Kohima IG Stadium.
