ANPSA Dimapur deliberates on NEP 2020, silver jubilee sports plans

Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): The Dimapur unit of the All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) held its first general body meeting of the year on Friday at Christian Higher Secondary School in Dimapur, with representatives from 43 member schools attending the session.

The meeting, which began at 3 pm, was chaired by Information and Publicity Secretary M Chumrenthung Ezung. The proceedings commenced with an opening prayer led by Fr John Nchumbemo Kikon, principal of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Dimapur.

In his welcome address, ANPSA Dimapur president Asito Peseyie expressed gratitude to member schools for their continued commitment to promoting educational excellence in the region.

Finance secretary V K Shah presented a detailed sports finance report during the meeting, highlighting the association’s financial transparency and management.

During the session, members held extensive discussions on several key agenda items, including implementation of school curriculum, co-curricular activities and vocational courses in line with the National Education Policy 2020.

The house also deliberated on preparations for the celebration of the 25th year of the ANPSA Dimapur Unit Sports, outlining plans and activities for the milestone event.

In addition, members discussed strengthening collaboration with non-governmental organisations to enhance relationship-building, cooperation and communication in order to foster a more inclusive community ecosystem.

The meeting concluded with a closing prayer by S Moa Walling, principal of Christian Higher Secondary School Dimapur.

The executive body of the association thanked the host school for its hospitality and appreciated the active participation of members in shaping the organisation’s roadmap for the year.
