The Union said that the act was an insult and disgrace to the Naga identity.

The act is also a challenge to the Naga National workers to redefine their principles and code of conducts, as, due to faulty operational systems that exist within the hierarchy of the national workers organization, unscrupulous individuals and elements alike has been taking utmost advantage, the release said. it further stated that, the manner in which the demand and threat letter had been served, using the Church and the sanctified pulpit was highly abominable.

The Union has therefore dared the culprits/ groups, wherein the three gentlemen’s live’s were also threatened, who were bonafide members of the ASU and said that the Union will not let sinister elements disrupt its fraternity. It further urged the District Administration and its investigating agency to speed up its machineries into the core of the issue instead of doing routinely interrogations roundabout and to provide blanket security to the concerned persons, families and properties alike.
