Dimapur, August 17 (MExN): On August 15, ATMA-Dimapur organized a mega exhibition which saw participation from different Agri & allied departments, Self Help Groups and Agri-Entrepreneurs. Different Agri and allied departments under the umbrella of ATMA had set up their stalls in the exhibition to create awareness to the farmers and also to the general public about latest technologies and techniques in Agri and allied sectors for assuring better dividends.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Kuzholuzo Nienu. A press note issued by the department informed that items on sale at the exhibition were Sprayers, motorized reapers, flowers, mushrooms, garments and traditional Naga clothing made of Eri & Muga silk, local fishes, fish pickle, Kuroiler, rabbits, ducks and Japanese Quails at subsidized price. Apart from these, the SHGs and Agri- Entrepreneurs also displayed and sold handicrafts, brooms, broomstick furniture, locally made pickles, aloe-vera soap and detergents at reasonable rates. Dissemination of Technology through literatures on Agri & allied departments were also distributed.
