
Dimapur, September 17 (MExN): A monthly bi-lingual news magazine (Eng / Kuki) K3 Khangkikhel was launched today, September 17 at the Resident of L L Kuki, Editor K3, at Phaipijang, Dimapur.
At the function presided by Silas Khongsai, associate editor T. Limsong IAS ( Retd) chief guest congratulated the editorial staff for their commendable success and exhorted them to maintain sincerity and dedication in their endeavor to strive for a changed in the society through this magazine.
He further emphasis the importance of just and transparency in the Print Media and to uphold the ethics of Journalism. He also appeal to the gathering to extend their support for the success and betterment of K3 Khangkikhel news magazine. He donated a sum of Rs.10,000/-as charitable donation towards the news magazine.
Special invitee, P.Hangsing IAS (Retd) stresses the need of having a monthly news magazine. This can be used as a mouth piece of social, cultural and economic changes. A brief footnote on emergence of K3 Khangkikhel, its literal concept was narrated by Sesei Khongsai (Managing Editor of K3). Where he pointed that “Khang”- Era, “Kikhel”- Changing. He further stress the need to live and give like the natures don’t live for itself, similarly K3 will not exist for itself but for the changes we need in this third generation.
