Child harassment incident flayed

Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): Various organizations have condemned the recent child harassment incident at Kohima where a minor girl was physically abused by one Asangla.

SUK
The Sangtam Union Kohima (SUK) has strongly condemned the barbaric act to a minor girl by her employer, N.Asangla. A condemnation letter issued by its president Seopi, stated that a heartless mother like Asanlga should be banished from the colony to avoid such occurrences in future. SUK also appealed to the law enforcing agencies and ENPUK to take stringent action against the culprit.

ENSUK
The Eastern Naga Students’ Union Kohima (ENSUK), fervently condemned heartless and inhuman treatment meted to an innocent child by Asangla. A condemnation note issued by its president Likhase Sangtam and general secretary Chimtong stated that the offence committed by the culprit is unimaginable. It is also noted that the child may belong to a particular tribe yet in order to prevent such kind of inhuman act in the future from our society and appealed that apart from law enforcing agencies, it is also the responsibility of every organizations to ponder upon such kind of incident and adopt certain principles in the interest of peace and cordial relations.

KNSK Kohima Unit
The Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong (KNSK) Kohima Unit vehemently condemned the inhuman treatment meted out to a ten year old child by Asangla of forest colony Kohima. Its unit President Olem and information & publicity secretary Liching Konyak in a condemnation note stated that it is shocking to learn that a woman, a mother can be so heartless and kept/treat a child in such an ruthless and barbaric manner and questioned how Asangla will feel if her own child was treated in such a way .
 
PUK
The Phom Union Kohima (PUK) strongly denounced the ruthless act ruled out to a minor girl of Chang tribe by Asangla, resident of Forest Colony Kohima. A condemnation letter issued by its president C. Danted and general secretary B. Chingmei stated that the child future is uncertain due to immense physical suffering and mental agony inflicted on her by an unkind woman.

AST

The Akehda Sangtamlaru Thsingmujang Kohima Unit has strongly condemned the heartless and inhuman act meted to an innocent minor girl by N. Asangla resident of Forest Colony, Kohima. The Unit president Atula Tsathri and assistant general secretary Asela Sangtam in a condemnation stated that such kind of barbaric and inhuman act shall not be tolerated in our society in any manner.

ENWO
The Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO) of Kohima and Longleng has issued condemnation notes against what it termed the barbaric and inhuman act meted out to a minor girl by her employer N. Asangla Ao. The ENWO Longleng president Meniei Thawang and general secretary Asenla Chang strongly voiced that severe punishment must be awarded for such inhuman crimes inflicted upon the minor girl.
