Chozuba, October 13 : Following the mandate approval of the general body meeting, Naga People’s Front (NPF), Phek division has unanimously re-elected Chivotso Nienu from 20th Meluri Constituency as the president of NPF, Phek division at its 2011 general convention today here at Chozuba Town.
Out of 74 inducted officials from various wings as division office bearers for the tenure 2011 to 2014, Chivotso Nienu will lead the parent body as president, while Welo Wezah, Zhonielu and Nerayi D. Vadeo were also sworn in as the president of Youth Wing, Women wing and Farmers Wing respectively.
According to the minister in charge of the Phek Division, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu who is also the Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Nagaland stated that minor reshuffle was carried out from the village (unit) level to division level as per the central office directive where Phek Division without any bias reshuffled as part of reaffirming the strength of the party with bigger hope to face the forthcoming general election.
Division chief Chivotso Nienu, while assuring the delegates gathered, ‘with better inputs from the entire wings of the division party office bearers we will pursue with the forthcoming election with better and reliable tactics’ he asserted adding he had full confident in all his wings officials to carry out effective commissioning of the party at large.
Meanwhile, Rev. Pukrolhu Lohe proposed a dedicatory prayer for the newly inducted office bearers.
