Cong Seva Dal leaders join NPF in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, August 4 (MExN): The NPF Dimapur-I A/C has welcomed three Congress Seva Dal leaders who left their party and acquired membership of NPF. In a brief function held at NPF office, which was attended by former MLA, Atomi Zhimomi and former DMC member, Kuhoi Zhimo, the NPF resolved to strengthen the party in Dimapur-I A/C with its members’ support and active participation in mobilizing the strength keeping in mind the quality of leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Atomi, who is also CEC member said that the NPF needs political mobilization and social engineering to strengthen the party in Dimapur-I A/C. He said that with the induction of three former Congress members, it is hoped that they would bring in more supporter and work for the best interest of the party in Dimapur.
Kuhoi Zhimo, former DMC member from Ward 5 said that the Congress leaders belonged to his ward and worked separately earlier. But now they would be working together for the party and for the upliftment of the society.
He said that NPF has been very strong in Dimapur-I A/C, but everyone has to work hard and prove their strength in the next general elections. The former Congress members of Ward 5, Adua Zeliang, Imti Ao and Chuba  affirmed that they would work sincerely in the new party, NPF giving their best. They also sought guidance and support from the senior leaders.
