Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): The Indian National Congress (INC) has announced its list of star campaigners for the upcoming by-election to the 28-Koridang Assembly constituency in Nagaland, scheduled to be held on April 9, 2026.
The party said the list has been notified in accordance with Section 77(1) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951.
The designated star campaigners include Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka, Ajay Kumar Lallu, Christopher Tilak, S Jamir, Bhakta Charan Das, Okram Ibobi Singh, Keisham Meghachandra Singh, Prasad Harichandan, Jayadev Jena, Mathew Antony, Anil Thomas, Alfred Kanngam S Arthur, Victor Keishing and Khriedi Theunuo.
Other leaders in the list are C Apok Jamir, K L Chishi, K Therie, Capt G K Zhimomi, Moa Emchen, Yanamo Ovung and Akounuo Miachieo.
The announcement forms part of the party’s preparations for the by-election to the Koridang Assembly constituency.
