
Members of the Dimapur Bangali Samaj on the eve of Shri Shri Durga Puja Festival distributed clothes amongst the needy.
Dimapur, September 28 (MExN): On the eve of Shri Shri Durga Puja Festival 2011, the Dimapur Bangali Samaj has distributed clothes amongst the needy and poor children, women and widows in presence of Bengali community leaders and other resourceful persons.
A press note issued by Ratan Deb, Social Welfare Secretary, Dimapur Bangali Samaj stated that the 250 beneficiaries comprises of orphan of Ananda Marg Pracharak Sangha and inhabitants of S.P Colony, D Colony, Master Colony, Y.Zhimo Colony, Babulal Kachari Colony, Kevija-U Colony, Liegise colony (behind Plastic Factory), Railway Netaji Colony etc. The Dimapur Bangali Samaj in the note also stated that it will always uphold to help the poor and needy people of the society in future also. Further, the Dimapur Bangali Samaj thanks all the donors who has donated materially and financially, and also to Ram Thakur Mandir Committee for providing us venue for successfully completion of the programme.
