Mon, February 18 (DIPR): Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Dinesh Kumar IAS inspected Tizit and Naginimora Circle on February 16 to verify the ongoing Census exercise. The DC had a meeting with the enumerators and supervisors at Tizit Hq. stressing on the importance of accurate and genuine data. He also visited few households in Tizit town and Lapa Lampong for on the spot verification of already filled-in schedules. The DC also sent a team comprising of EAC Tizit, EAC Mon and Census nodal officer to Neitong village and Yanpan Village for on the spot verification.
At Naginimora, after conducting a meeting with the enumerators and the supervisors, the DC also visited households in Hotahoti village to cross check the already filled-in census schedules. At both the circles, a few errors were detected for which the enumerators were directed to take corrective measures. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the Census work was going on in full swing in the district and also appreciated the quality of work that the enumerators, supervisors and Charge Officers have delivered so far and further urged them to continue doing so with dedication and sincerity for the timely completion of Phase II of Census exercise in the District.
