Demise of TPO prez mourned

Dimapur, October 8 (MExN): Various organisations have mourned the demise of the president of Tenyimi People’s Organisation (TPO), Z M Sekhose.

TPO
The Tenyimi People’s Organisation (TPO) has mourned the demise of its president Meguokholie Sekhose. The TPO in a condolence note stated that  Meguokholie will be remembered most for the transformative thinking and leadership he projected for the restoration and preservation of the Ntangki National Park. TPO has called upon all Nagas to become the joint protectors and guarantors for the preservation of the integrity of the priceless biodiversity asset for the benefit of all Nagas and mankind.

ASU
The Angami Students’ Union has mourned the sudden Demise of Z .M Sekhose. “ASU acknowledges his good deeds and dynamism as a true leader. The Community has lost a pioneer of the society, a compassionate and an understanding personality. The empty space created by the untimely demise will be difficult to fill in. ".

TSUD
The Tenyimi Students’ Union Dimapur has express grieve over the demise of ZM Sekhose. “We are also sure that the Organisation which he led will stand firm in this moment of great ordeal and continue to play a major role in leading the Tenyimi people in their vision and set the example for the Nagas.” The note was appended by the presidents of the nine constituent units of TSUD  - Kuda (Dimapur) Angami Students’ Union, Chakesang Students’ Union Dimapur, Mao Students’ Union Dimapur, Zeliang Students’ Union Dimapur, Rongmei Students’ Union Dimapur, Pochury Students’ Union Dimapur, Rengma Students’ Union Dimapur, Poumai Students’ Union Dimapur and Inpui Students’ Union Dimapur.

NGRC-1CU
The Nagaland Government, Registered Class-1 Contractors Union (NGRC-1CU) expressed its deepest sympathy and grief over the demise of late Meguokholie Sekhose. The deceased is the beloved father of M. Charlie Sekhose, Audit Committee Convener NGRC-1CU. A condolence note issued by K.C Angami, president stated that NGRC-1CU and its member conveyed its heartfelt condolences to M. Charlie Sekhose and his family and also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.

APO
The Angami Public Organisation (APO) has deeply regretted the sudden demise of Z.M. Sekhose. “A man of dignity and clear principles, he stood firm for the cause of Tenyimi People’s unity and for the Naga people, total integrity and preservation of Intanki National Park and amicable and fair settlement of Kezol Tsa land dispute between Mao Council and Southern Angami Public Organisation for all concerned."    

Naga Hoho
Naga Hoho has mourned the sudden demise of Z.M.Sekhose. "He was one of the champions among the senior citizens against fratricidal killings in Naga society and always worked for the unity and reconciliation among the Nagas."

NPO
The Naga People’s Organization (NPO) has expressed sadness over the demise of Z.M Sekhose. Sincerely sharing the grief and pains of the bereaved family members and dear ones, the death of Z.M Sekhose has saddened the Tenyimi communities in Senapati district. His death left a remarkable history of a distinguished leader with integrity, principle and safeguarding Nagas traditions and customs.

NNC
The Naga National Council is shocked and pained to hear the sudden demise of Z.M.Sekhose. “He was a fatherly figure of the Naga National Council as well as the Naga people.He was a staunch supporter of Naga Freedom and worked towards Naga peace & unity. He also worked for the betterment of Naga people and the Naga National Council."

TSUM
The Tenyimi Student' Union, Mokokchung has mourned the demise of Z. M. Sekhose. “At this point of deep sorrow and mourning, we share the pain and hardship for the lost of our great leader. May the almighty God give solace and comfort to the bereaved family and also grant the strength to his beloved wife, children and relative to bear the lost. ”

AYO
The Angami Youth Organisation is deeply saddened by the demise of  Z.M.Sekhose. “He was one of the pioneers for the formation of the Angami Youth Organisation and had been our mentor till his last breathe. Late Z.M.Sekhose had such a great zeal in working with the Youths and whenever we needed his advice, he is ever ready to welcome us to his place to share his valuable wisdom.”

Naga Council Dimapur
The Naga Council Dimapur is shocked to learn of the demise of ZM Sekhose. “Late ZM Sekhose was a towering personality who served the tribal organisations in various capacities with maximum of his years serving the Tenyimi community as president of TCU later named TPO. Throughout his life as a Government official and later in his retirement, Late ZM Sekhose has set exemplary life of rendering sacrifial services to the people of Nagaland in order to keep people of various tribe and communities in peace and fraternal relationship.”

RSU
The Rengma Hoho & Rengma Students' union is shocked and saddened to learned of the sudden and untimely demise of Z.M Sekhose. "A man who had a genuine concern for the welfare of the Tenyimi people till his last breath, we recalled with gratitude how he kept the Tenyimi union alive during difficult and trying times in the past by sacrificing his resources, time and service..”

NSF
The Naga Students’ Federation has mourned the demise of ZM Sekhose. The NSF has conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family. “…salutes and honour the enormous contribution and voluntary service rendered to the Naga society in the process of Naga political movement.”
