Democracy at its worst

Democracy is a gift and the virtues of it are supposed to bring joy to the people of every tongue, tribe and nation. When we put rotten apples in the midst of the good ones, it spoils the good ones too. In the same way when we allow the wicked to rule over us, the good ones also becomes corrupted because of the influence of their evil masters. This is a norm the world follows, which as a result weakens the stance of those who hungers and thirst for the virtues which the righteous desires. For he good ones to prevail over the wicked ones, it takes courage, wisdom and commitment. A lot of issues regarding the democratical stance of India had been raised over the past year and the breakthrough which the social activist and the religious leaders are making is certainly a good sign as far as the war against evil is concerned.
The true lovers of our nation are the ones who devotes their time, wealth and resources to uplift the nation through the powers that are bestowed upon them. The flaws we see in this great nation is that, its stance as a democratic nation is further getting from bad to worst because of the sins of its own people. Truth has to be made known  that its people may be better equipped  to transform this great nation into a nation of power and honor. It is the job of the writers, historians and intellectuals to promote the virtues of democracy.
Every nation exists because of the will of God and every nation will progress if its people live godly and corrupt free lives. Ever since we became an independent nation in 1948, we had pledged to uplift the cause of the nation through democratic values. This is the mess that we put ourselves into and we can blame no one else but us. The errors of our nation need not be highlighted at all times because it may do more harm than good.  But it will also be unwise if we keep all of these bottled up for too long. If we make commitments without actually meaning it, the laws of God may ultimately destroy us.  to support the cause of the movement Francis Wright  said “ Who speaks of liberty while the human mind is in chains. The obvious interpretation of these words of wisdom is that we will never be fruitful if our consciences are polluted by the sins of the world.
Our democracy is at its worst but we can still make amends for the mistakes we committed by pledging our allegiance to the creator of the universe. If we don’t learn from our mistakes, the stains of sin will affect the reputation of our nation. When we talk about peace, unity and equality without actually meaning it, we lie and deceive ourselves. When we deceive ourselves we are no better than fools, for even fools tries to be sane. The objective of this column is not to affect anyone, rather it is to edify, to strengthen and to uplift the cause of the nation. God loves India and we love India. We pledge to pray for the growth and the prosperity of this great nation. The salvation of India is our concern and the rise of India is our desire.  Let India rise and democracy survive.  May it prevail.
