
DIMAPUR, MARCH 23 (MExN): The Dimapur Deputy Commissioner (DC) has asked all private and government health care centre to maintain ‘FLU-CORNER or a ‘TRAIGE’ point as an isolation space in OPD for suspected cases.
Entry of hospital attendants for indoor cases is to be restricted to only one so as to avoid cross-infection.
Private hospitals/health care centres have been asked to designate one medical officer as an internal Rapid Response Team (RRT) to coordinate with the district Rapid Response Team (RRT). It further asked the public not to visit hospitals unless very necessary. If necessary to visit hospitals then the patients are to be accompanied by only one attendant to both private/government hospitals.
Meanwhile, the Dimapur DC has set up District Disaster Management Committee under the establishment of DC Dimapur, to look into the matter for COVID-19 (Corona Virus) in the District with the following members: Deputy Commissioner Dimapur as Chairman, Commissioner of Police Dimapur, Chief Medical Officer Dimapur, District Commandant, CD & HG, Dimapur; Administrator, DMC; Assistant Director, F&CS; President, DCCI; District Public Relations Officer, Dimapur; District Disaster Management Officer, Dimapur as members.
