
Dimapur, February 18 (MExN): The governing body of District Hospital Management Society Kiphire, held its meeting at the office chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire on February 14. A press note issued by Pezanguno Celine Secü, media officer, CMO office, Kiphire informed that the meeting was chaired by C.M. Tsanglao, DC & Chairman of the society, Kiphire.
Dr. L. Yanthan, Medical Superintendent & Member secretary of the Society initiated the proceeding and the agenda was deliberated one by one. The note stated that members approved the ongoing up gradation process of the hospital up to 100 bedded besides Nurses and Doctors apartments. The site for the construction was also approved. It was also decided to find ways to erect boundary pillars with the support of administration in presence of hospital staff and the land owners from whom the land was procured.
Murohu Chotso, ADC & Chairman Kiphire Town Council agreed to find ways for waste disposal management system in the hospital in collaboration with the Medical Department. Dr. I. Sungit Jamir, Chief Medical Officer, Lipichem, Honorary Secretary, IRCS Kiphire and Ramtsula Secretary Ladies Club, Kiphire also took part in the discussion. Deputy Commissioner advised the Medical department to forward the suggestions made in the meeting to the Medical Directorate in Kohima.
