For the selection of participants for PPC 2026, an online multiple-choice question (MCQ) competition is being conducted on the MyGov Innovate India portal from December 1, 2025, to January 11, 2026. The competition is open to students of Classes 6 to 12, teachers and parents. All participants will receive certificates.

Through the online competition, students, teachers and parents can frame questions they wish to be addressed to the Prime Minister during the programme. Selected questions, shortlisted by the NCERT, may be featured in the event. The DoSE noted that participants who posed questions in previous editions were invited by media channels, and similar opportunities may be available this year for selected participants.

The department has directed heads of all schools under NBSE, CBSE, ICSE, government and private sectors in Nagaland to disseminate information on the initiative and encourage students, teachers and parents to participate in the online competition for a chance to be selected for PPC 2026.
