ENPO, Nagaland govt hold tripartite talk with MHA

New Delhi, December 22 (MExN): A series of meetings were held this week between representatives of Eastern Nagaland People's Organisation (ENPO), Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), and Nagaland state government, focusing on the issue of Frontier Naga Territory (FNT).

A bilateral meeting was held between the ENPO and MHA team led by Advisor for Northeast AK Mishra on December 18. The team included Director for NE AK Dhyani, Joint Director of IB Rajesh Kamble, and Joint Secretary for NE Niraj Kumar Bansod.

This was followed by a High Level Committee (Tripartite) meeting on December 19 at Kartavya Bhavan in New Delhi, chaired by Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan. The Nagaland state delegation was led by Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen.

On December 21, an ENPO delegation accompanied by S Phangnon Konyak, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his official residence.

According to a release from the ENPO Media Cell, the group extended Christmas greetings to Shah and “thanked him for his seriousness and commitment” regarding the FNT matter.
