Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) will undertake an official tour of Mon District from December 8-10 as part of its ongoing commitment to safeguarding the developmental interests of the region.
During the visit, the delegation will carry out an on-site verification of Waha Island, an emerging eco-tourism destination under the Federation’s custodianship.
The exercise aims to assess the island’s ecological potential, tourism viability, and the measures required for its sustainable management, the ENSF informed in a press release.
The Federation will inspect several key developmental initiatives currently underway across Mon District, with special focus on the progress of the Mon Medical College, it said.
The tour is scheduled to formally conclude on December 11 at the Tuensang Headquarters, where the Federation will deliberate on the findings and consolidate a comprehensive review report.
