Dimapur, September 10 (MExN): In pursuance of the government standing ahza, the Naga Army, Federal Government of Nagaland led by Urban Commander; Kohima Town raided shops in Old Minister Hill, New Ministers Hill, Forest Colony, Jail Colony, Mohunkhola, Argi Colony in the month of August.
During the raid, large quantities of banned guthka like Tez, Talab and other chemically fermented by-products of betel nuts worth lakh of rupees were seized. The items were later burned in the presence of the FGN anchorites and general public.
In the interest of the nation, the FGN Ministry of Rali wali in a press release has appealed to all the public leaders of the respective colony, ward, NGO and general public to cooperate with the government in execution of removing all forms of illegal activities which are confronting and threatening the society.
