Late Yonghopi Sangtam
Kohima, October 19 (MExN): Former President of the United Sangtam Likhüm Pümji (USLP) Yonghopi Sangtam passed away on October 18 at Naga Hospital Kohima following a prolonged illness. Hailing from Chungtor village under Tuensang District, he retired as District Sports Officer, Tuensang and was serving as Honorary Secretary, IRCS Tuensang till date.
Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) president Chingmak Chang paid tribute to the departed soul. H. Sethrongkyu Sangtam, advisor, information technology & communication, economics & statistics and evaluation also mourned the demise of Yonghopi. May the departed soul rest in eternal peace, he stated.
Late Yonghopi’s mortal remain was taken to Tuensang and the funeral service will be held on October 20.
