Kohima, September 29 (MExN): The Committee on Government Assurances (2025-2026) has scheduled an on-the-spot verification visit on October 16 and 17 to assess the status of ongoing road projects. According to a press release, the visit will cover the construction of the Kejumetouma-Ghathashi Phase-I road and the Kejumetouma to Kheloshe Polytechnic Atoizu Phase-II road, as well as the status of the two-lane road from Kohima to Jessami. A decision to undertake this verification was taken during the Introductory cum Oral Evidence Meeting of the committee held on July 28 under the chairmanship of P. Longon, MLA and Chairman of the Committee on Government Assurances. “All Members of the Committee on Government Assurances are requested to make it convenient to join the visit,” the press release stated.
