Dimapur, July 23 (MExN): ‘Dy. Kilonser’, GPRN/NSCN Kechangulie Angami has slammed the press statement of A Kits, u/secy of K group.
In a rejoinder he stated: “…the question of mr. Apelhu Kruse caretaker chairman Angami Region GPRN/NSCN and Ms. Avono, Leacy member, collecting tax in the name of K is baseless. K group emerged recently after they ran away to collect money. Apelho Kruse and Ms. Avono are official representatives of GPRN/NSCN in Angami Region and Angami public are well aware of this fact (sic).”
He also retorted that A Kits alleging that he is a bus driver is ridiculous. “I feel sorry for his confused state of mind. Maybe he saw many buses in the street recently. I served the Nagaland state govt. for 23 years in Ed. Dept computing records and also in the medical department. I took voluntary retirement as my desire to serve the Naga nation and to propagate peace and reconciliation among Naga brothers became strong. A Kits dragging my wife in his stupid comments will not serve the purpose,” he added.
Also, Kechangulie stated that the Angami custom does not allow such injustice in the society. He further went on saying that he joined GPRN/NSCN five years ago to contribute to the national struggle and he is committed towards the cause and his responsibility and commitment is unwavering. “Angami Regional authorities and my other colleagues would testify to this fact. I issue this statement so that Angami general public and the Nagas in general are not fooled by an extortionist like A Kits,” he said in the note.
