Hindi Pakhwada samapan samaroh held

Dimapur, September 30 (MExN): The Hindi Pakhwada samapan samaroh was organized on September 29 in State Academy Hall, Kohima under the aegis of Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvayan Samiti (Town Official Language Implementation Committee), Kohima.
A press note received here stated that Commissioner & Secretary for Horticulture, Geology and Mining, Sentiyanger Imchen, who was the chief guest at the programme, emphasized the urgent need of popularizing Hindi in the State of Nagaland. He said that Hindi has become second Language in the state and Government of Nagaland is doing all the needful to expand the spectrum of Hindi in Nagaland. Hindi is closely linked with employment outside the state. It helps socio-cultural assimilation of different section of people in the country,” said Imchen.
P. Temjen “Guruji” said that Devnagari script is the best for various Naga dialects which is capable of writing what exactly is spoken because of its scientific phonetic.
The note also stated that the Nagaland Government’s Hindi Bhasha Adhikari ( Hindi Language Officer) Zakini Khubve narrated how Hindi is becoming popular not only in academic circles in urban areas but also among people in rural areas because of their coming up in contact with towns and cities and also because of their access to electronic media and cinema.
He expressed his gratefulness to the Chairman, Nagar Rajbhasha Karyanvadyan Samiti,  Kohima for organizing such programmes dedicated to the progressive use of Hind. He also thanked V. K. Girijaballabhan, Accountant General, P.V. Harikrishna, Sr. Dy. Accountant General (Audit) and Mukesh Kumar Lal,  Dy. Accountant Gerneral (A&E) for their untiring effort in this regards and for publishing a Hindi magazine like  “Naganchal” and also for honoring him along with other Heads of various Hindi Sansthans (Institutes) spread all over Nagaland which will be long way to encourage them for working with renewed vigor to commit more for Hindi expansion.
 Gamadi  Vidhya Bharati School, Dhansiripar, Dimapur presented Saraswati Vandana (prayer to goddess of learning- Saraswati) and displayed a cultural dance. Vande Mataram was song at the end of programme by kum. Hamsaindi of the school. DIG CRPF shri Sandeep Dutta narrated how Hindi is very popular amongst security force, it added.
Also, Mukesh Kumar Lal, Dy. Accountant General (A&E) welcomed the chief guest and other officers and staff from different Central Govt. Offices stationed at Kohima. He narrated how Hindi has become very popular not only in northeast states and southern states but also in foreign countries. He read out the "Hindi Message" sent by the Union Home Minister Chidambaram meant specially for the occasion.
The heads of various Hindi Prashikshan Sansthans were honored by the chief guest by presenting a shawl and a maan-Patra (certificate of Honor). Jagadamba Mall, In charge of Hindi Cell informed that those Hindi principal who could not attend the function can collect their shawal and Maan-Patra from him during office hours.
 V.K. Girijaballabhan, Accountant General and chairman gave away the certificate of merit and cash prizes to winners of various Hindi competitions. Jagdamba Mall was also honored with Maan-Patra (Certificate of Honor) and cash prize for being a successful editor of Naganchal.
P.V. Harikrishna, Sr. Dy. Accountant General (Audit) offered vote of thanks at the end of the programme. This followed the cultural items presented by school children of Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Pareeksha Kendra, Burma Camp Dimapur and Gamadi Vidya Bharati School, Dhansiripar, Dimapur. The troupes of 50 artists from NEZCC, Dimapur presented eight cultural items which charmed the audience, the press note stated.
