The Christian Forum Dimapur held a solidarity prayer meet for Manipur on May 3.
Dimapur, May 3 (MExN): The Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) held a solidarity prayer meet for Manipur in commemoration of the Manipur violence that erupted last year on May 3. The prayer meet was held with the theme “Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ (Gal 6:2) at Bethesda Celebration Centre, Walford, Dimapur.
Nini Sekhose led the programme with opening prayer by Rev Dr N Paphino, welcome & introduction was done by Rev Moses Murry. The prayer points were led by Dr, Alem Sangtam.
“The event was meant to express solidarity with the families of those who had lost their dear and near ones in the violence and those who had lost their homes and property and had to flee the violence-hit areas in Manipur. And also to come together as one body in Christ and pray for peace and harmony in Manipur and God’s wisdom upon the Central and state leaders,” stated a press release from CFD.
Church leaders and believers from various churches participated in the solidarity prayer meeting.
