KOHIMA (MExN): In what can be termed as a welcome step, investors from outside have started to pour into Nagaland in relation to various developmental activities. Minister for Health & Family Welfare Dr. T.M Lotha said this on the sidelines of dedicating a private bus service here in LK Volvo Point Preronna, BOC (South X-Market).
However, he said with the improvement of law and order situation, a lot of changes are now taking place across the state.
Recently, the government had signed MoU with investors from outside with regard to running a private university in Wokha district and another private university somewhere in Dimapur or Kohima is expected to come soon. Private agencies are also set to sign MoUs in the power sector too.
Meanwhile, the first air-conditioned bus service is expected to be seen as a sign of relief to the travelers for Guwahati and Shillong. The venture is being initiated by Preronna Transport and Carrying Co. Pvt. Ltd, Guwahati and Oking Travels and Communication.
