Japfü Christian College gets assessed by NAAC

Kohima, SeptEMBER 21 (MExN): The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore, assessed Japfü Christian College (JCC) on September 19 and 20.
NAAC is an autonomous body of University Grants Commission set up to assess quality of education in Higher Education.
JCC is a young college of 15 years headed by its lady Principal, Visakhonü Hibo. Dr. R. Chumbeno Ngullie, the Nodal Officer of the College for NAAC, coordinated the Peer Team visit.
The Peer Team was led by former Vice Chancellor, University of Rajasthan, Prof. K.L. Kamal, who coincidently, was the Chairman for Nagaland University and St. Anthony’s, Shillong, while being assessed by NAAC, UGC. The other two UGC expert committee members were Prof. Thara Bhai L from Trivandrum and Dr. Chandrakanta Sharma from Tinsukia. The Peer Team members commented that they were highly impressed with the College, the Alumni and the ideal location of the College at Kigwema.
JCC is sponsored by Japfüphiki Baptist Church Council (JBCC) and managed by a Board of Management (BOM). The College has been excelling in academics as well as imparting God fearing quality education to its students, whereby, they can become useful members in their society and the Nation at large.
