JCC concerned by directives against pen-down strike

Kohima, October 10 (MExN): The Joint Coordination Committee on IAS Induction, comprising CANSSEA, FONSESA, NIDA, NSSA, and NF&ASA, has expressed concern over directives issued by certain non-governmental agencies against the ongoing Pen-Down Strike.

In a circular issued by the Committee’s Media Cell on October 10, the JCC stated that it had “noticed that certain Non Governmental Agencies not connected with this issue have been issuing directives against this Pen Down Strike.” It clarified that “the Pen-down Strike shall be complied by all service associations affiliated with CANSSEA.”

The Committee also acknowledged the All Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA), an affiliated body under CANSSEA, for its “prompt action in complying with the directives of the Joint Coordination Committee.” The JCC further stated that the circular issued by ANSTA was “in consonance with the purpose of this cause.”
