Kiphire, November 30 (MExN): The Kiphire District Youth Congress has affirmed its support for the leadership of S Supongmeren Jamir, president of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee, and K Tsalimong, president of the Kiphire District Congress Committee.
In a press release issued on November 27, the District Youth Congress stated that the decision was taken in pursuance of the notification from the Kiphire District Congress Committee. It said the party’s youth wing in the district has “resolved to stand under the dynamic and able leadership of Shri S. Supongmeren Jamir, president, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) and Shri K. Tsalimong, president Kiphire District Congress Committee (KDCC)” and further resolved to “work tirelessly from the grassroot level in bringing the Secular party Congress as a people's mandate political party.”
The release also listed the incumbent office bearers of the Kiphire District Youth Congress Committee. They are: Obed T Rezipi, president; C Liseba, vice president; I Atsangba, vice president; Tsuymki, vice president; Thsaropi Sangtam, general secretary (administration); Pongkyu Tikhir, secretary; Ariba T Sangtam, secretary; Setongkyu, secretary; Yangeseba T Sangtam, Media Cell convener; and Tsarose Michael, Media Cell co-convener.
