Kohima, March 21 (MExN): The election for the posts of Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Kohima Municipal Council will be held on March 30 at 2:00 PM in the Office Chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima. According to an official notice, the meeting has been convened by Deputy Commissioner B Henok Buchem, NCS, following approval from the State Government and in accordance with the provisions of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2023. All elected councillors of the Kohima Municipal Council have been directed to attend the meeting without fail. The notice further informed that quorum requirements, as laid down under the Act, will be strictly observed during the proceedings.
