KPC conference hall under lock

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 20 (MExN): The Kohima Press Club conference hall is under lock, stated a report filed from Kohima.
It stated that the DPRO Kohima, had recently locked the conference hall of the Kohima Press Club over what was termed as “a very flimsy issue resulting from a communication gap”. Both the DPRO Kohima and the Press Club Kohima were housed in the building of the old Directorate of IPR. The Kohima press club occupied certain block of the vacant building while the rest were occupied by the establishment of DPRO, Kohima.  
The statement reminded that the KPC occupied the building based on the verbal assurance given by the chief minister who also mentioned it as the achievement of the state government in his Independence Day speech. Moreover, the statement pointed out that the IPR department is under pressure from the State Election Department to vacate the same old DIPR building so that the later will take over.
It was stated that initially, the DPRO locked the main door of the conference hall, but presently, the third door/gate was locked making the KPC member in accessible to the conference hall where its asset worth lakhs of rupees were kept.
