Wokha, Febraury 1 (MExN): A1 Tsungiki, RCR Football Club today won their respective match while Clique FC and Midland Youth Organisation settled for a draw at the ongoing 9th edition of Lotha Football Championship.
In first match of the day, Rachan Reserve Chanka (RCR) FC comprehensively outplayed Forest Football Club by 7-1.
With four goals, RCR’s Aremo also became the third player to score a hat-trick at the ongoing tourney, organised by Wokha District Football Association, at the Local Ground, Wokha,
Zuchamthung and Nongothung also contributed a goal each to the team’s tally.
With a 2-2 as the final score line, Clique FC and Midland Youth Organisation had to settle for a draw in the second match.
Jandemo and Phyochibemo found the net for Clique in the 35th and 60th minute of the game respectively, while Rhonthung and Chonben scored for MYO in the 11th and 64th minute.
In the final match of the day, A1 Tsungiki defeated Pangti Village Sports Association 4-0.
Yansothung netted twice for the team in the 18th & 31st minute while Supen and Mehuo Angami also contributed a goal each.
