Shillong, January 2 (NNN): Personnel of the Anti Narcotics Task Force in East Jaintia Hills district along with personnel from Khliehriat Police Station have seized a large haul of contraband from an Agartala bound truck at Khliehriat on Thursday morning. Police said that in the 20-hour long operation, the police personnel seized 91,000 YABA/WY/Amphetamine tablets weighing approx. 8.6 Kilograms with street value of Rs. 2 crores and 3,88,500 ml of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) was recovered from the truck. Two persons have been arrested in this regard. A case has been registered and investigation is going on, the police added.
