Dimapur, October 18, (MExN): More unions have voiced their concern over the abduction and life attempt of Shillumthong Yimchungrü. The Yimchungrü Students Union Penkim has strongly condemned the incident of the abduction and the attempted murder of Shellumthong Yimchungrü , Vice President of Yimchungrü Tribal Council (YTC) by some unidentified , miscreants between Old Showuba to Naga United Village. YSUP appealed to the authority in charge to trace and book the culprit without any mercy for ignorance of the law is of no excuse.
The Yimchungrü Students Union Kiphire Town (YSUKT) also condemned the abduction and attempted murder. H.asola, President YSUK in a press note stated that the Union, at the highest respect for law, appealed the authority in charge to leave no stone unturned to nab the culprit. Taking advantage on innocent, abduction, Kidnapping murdering, torturing and vehicle lifting has no place in Naga Society. YSUKT also urged all the Nagas to condemn such inhuman act .
